With spectacular fynbos, birdlife and exceptional views of Pringle Bay, Valsbaai and the Cape Peninsula mountains, this unique lantern sunset picnic offers walkers and birders a great experience. This two hour walk provides you with 360 degree views of the area and include a picture perfect option in one of several locations. the walk starts late afternoon in Pringle Bay. After a non-strenuous 45 minute walk you will reach the view point and indulge in a sunset picnic. An unusual lantern experience awaits you on the way down. Walk only 120 minutes @ R100 per person. This is an unique race as the routes over private farms above Kleinmond are only open once a year. (a very tough but scenic 35km and a 11km for the young and not so fit) Entry fee – R100 for 35km and R50 for 11km.
Parking at the Kleinmond Day camp where the races will also end.
